Actually, this movie is released on 1994, American Film. The movie story is just superb. Acting of Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins is really fantastic. This is the second movie which makes me interest to watch after Davinci code.
Story:
Tim robbin is sentenced because of killed his wife for a bad relationship to other guy. In Shaw shank prison , He faces Homo sexual gangs for two years. But He gets rid of that problem. After that he met Morgan and his friends. The film just moving by introducing each characters in the film. Nortan , A Prison Warden, a some officers. Tim is Banker so he knows some financial managements so the warden and officers in the prison uses his knowledge to get money.
After a sentence of Five years, Gil comes to prison for the matter of theft. He joins to tim and morgan gangs. One day , Gil tells about the similar story (Tim’s Case) of his inmate person in the another prison. Actually Tim did not killed his wife and her boy friend. So Tim informs about this happening to warden. But warden refuses to hear. Because of the warden behavior tim gets angry and refuses to do financial matters to warden. So tim gets punished severely (Putting in Hole).
Warden calls Gil to query about that similar happening. gil honestly says “yes” and gets shot by the officer. (because he is the only victim who knows the fact).
One day, tim released from Hole and he meets morgan and tells, “If you freed just go to Buxton”. That is my desire. Morgan says , “sure, i will”.
After sentence of 19 years , Tim escapes from the prison by the hard work of using a little hammer and goes to bank(to get laundry money of 37,000 $). So Tim goes to Pacific area to his rest life peacefully.
After the service of 40 years, Morgan gets Parole. So the promise of tim, he goes to buxton, at that he found one letter with some money. In that letter, Tim invites him to pacific. So, Morgan feels good and goes to pacific. There he meets Tim.
The movie ends up with the reunion of tim and morgan in pacific.
About Acting:
Acting of each character in this film is really nice. We can’t say overacting to any character. Brook(A librarian character in the prison) gets parole but the outside world does not suit for him. So he hangs himself.
Screen play:
Editing made the screenplay good. Dialogues are nice to heard. Tim really works hard to gets escape from Shawshank prison. We should applause.

1.The funny thing is, on the outside, I was an honest man, straight as an arrow. I had to come to prison to be a crook.

4.Andy did like he was told, buffed those shoes to a high mirror shine. The guards simply didn’t notice. Neither did I… I mean, seriously, how often do you really look at a mans shoes? Andy crawled to freedom through five hundred yards of shit smelling foulness I can’t even imagine, or maybe I just don’t want to. Five hundred yards… that’s the length of five football fields, just shy of half a mile.
5. Hope? Let me tell you something, my friend. Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane. It’s got no use on the inside. You’d better get used to that idea.(told y Morgan)
